At The People Archives, we believe that trust comes from openness. That's why we’re committed to being completely transparent about how our platform works, how decisions are made, and where the money goes.
We work in collaboration with NGOs and community partners to photograph individuals in vulnerable or low-income communities. Every person featured has given full informed consent, with documentation and explanations provided in their local language.
We don’t just take photos — we ensure the people we photograph are directly supported. For each print sold, a clear portion of the sale goes to the subject or their community through a trusted NGO partner. A publicly available spreadsheet is accessible on our website, showing exactly how proceeds are distributed per sale.
The People Archives is a registered business in Australia. Every sale is documented, and we are building tools to ensure partners and subjects can follow along in real time. Our systems are designed to protect privacy, respect dignity, and uphold fairness.
This platform was created to do good — and we know that starts with accountability.
